Supreme Court advocate Vineet Jindal has raised serious concerns over the content of the reality show India's Got Talent, filing a complaint with Delhi’s Cyber Police against popular YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia and stand-up comedian Saurav Raina. Jindal claims that the show contains "vulgar references to close family relationships" and has urged the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to consider banning it, arguing that it degrades Indian cultural values.

The controversy centers around a particular episode in which Allahbadia posed a provocative question that Jindal believes undermines family values and includes offensive language. In his complaint, Jindal has invoked Sections 294 and 286 of the Indian Penal Code, which deal with obscene acts in public, as well as Section 674 of the Information Technology Act, which addresses the transmission of sexually explicit material online. He argues that the content not only violates these legal provisions but also threatens societal norms.

Beyond Allahbadia and Raina, Jindal’s complaint also targets other participants and influencers involved in the show’s digital broadcast. This isn’t the first time the show has faced legal trouble—similar complaints were previously filed in Mumbai against the organizers and participants, including social media influencer Apoorva Makhija, signaling a growing backlash against its content.

As the debate intensifies, it raises important questions about the fine line between entertainment and responsible content creation in the digital age. While some argue that creative expression should not be stifled, others believe that entertainment should not come at the cost of cultural values and social harmony.
