This decision follows the Supreme Court's ruling on July 30, 2024, in the case "Gaurav Kumar Versus Union of India and Others" (Writ Petition (C) No. 352 of 2023). The Court's directive has allowed the BCD to resume enrollment, adhering to the Supreme Court's orders and the subsequent guidance from the Bar Council of India.

The BCD will now be accepting and processing enrollment applications in line with the newly set guidelines.

Candidates must present their identity proof and either their LLB Final Year Marksheet or LLB Provisional Certificate during enrollment. A separate register will be maintained to ensure transparency and accurate record-keeping. Staff will document the candidate’s name on both the cover and the first page of the enrollment form.
